 LOCAL FUNDRAISING: La Fiesta Mexican Restaurants in Marion, Benton, Johnston City, and West Frankfort raised a total of $604 in donations made by patrons in their restaurants from Jan 15 - Jan 23. Juan Carlos Hernandez and Julian Rodriguez of LaFiesta matched this amount for a total of $1208 to be donated to the Haiti Earthquake Response by the American Red Cross. THANK YOU! Rural King (of Carbondale) is collecting funds from their customers to be donated to the American Red Cross Haiti Relief. Please visit the store to donate. Southern Illinois Healthcare (SIH) has collected from their employees to be donated to the American Red Cross Haiti Relief efforts.
